RANKGO TECHNOLOGIES LLC
Version 1.2 | Last updated September 28, 2026
Privacy Policy Summary
This Privacy Policy explains how RankGo Technologies LLC (“RankGo”, “we” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information when you use rankgo.tech, app.rankgo.tech, a RankGo mobile application, dashboards, account connectivity features, standings, reports, support channels and other services that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”).
RankGo initially focuses on users in California. Section 11 describes California privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), to the extent that law applies to RankGo and your information. You may contact RankGo with privacy requests using the methods described in this Policy.
Read this Policy together with the Terms of Service, any Data Provider notice displayed when you connect a work account, and any just-in-time notice presented for a specific feature. If you do not agree with RankGo’s practices, do not use the Services or connect a third-party account.
1. Scope and Roles
This Policy applies to personal information RankGo controls in connection with the consumer-facing Services. It does not govern the independent practices of a Gig Platform, a Data Provider’s independent collection through its own interface, Stripe or app store processing, websites not controlled by RankGo, or information processed solely on behalf of a business customer under a separate agreement.
Depending on the feature and contract, RankGo may act as the business or “controller” for personal information used to provide RankGo analytics, while a Data Provider may act as an independent business/controller or as a service provider/processor. The connection interface identifies the relevant Data Provider and provides access to its privacy notice. Review that notice before authorizing a connection.
2. Personal Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
-
Account and profile information, such as name, email address, phone number, username, password hash, profile image, city or market, language and communication preferences.
-
Eligibility and verification information, such as date of birth confirmation, proof of account ownership, work platform identifiers, identity documentation if required for fraud review, and sworn statements.
-
Support and communications, including emails, chat messages, complaints, appeal materials, survey responses and call records where notice and consent are provided.
-
User Content, including profile information, uploaded screenshots, documents provided to dispute data, comments and information entered into forms.
-
Membership and transaction information, such as the selected plan, promotional code, transaction identifier, billing status, renewal date, refund status and limited billing contact data. Full card numbers are generally collected by Stripe or the applicable app store merchant, not by RankGo.
-
Marketing and referral information, including campaign source, referral code, consent status and interactions with RankGo communications.
2.2 Connected Account and gig work data
When you authorize a connection, RankGo may receive information from Argyle or another Data Provider. The exact fields vary by Gig Platform, account type, provider, geography and availability. Categories may include:
-
Identity and account information: platform name, platform account identifier, worker name, email, phone, account status, profile identifiers and limited verification attributes.
-
Work and activity information: jobs, trips, deliveries, shifts, tasks, dates, start/end times, active or engaged time, online time if available, completed/cancelled activity and platform-specific activity classifications.
-
Earnings and payment information: gross earnings, base pay, tips, bonuses, incentives, adjustments, fees, reimbursements, payment dates, currencies and period totals.
-
Performance information: ratings, feedback, acceptance or completion metrics, reliability indicators, achievements, account standing and other fields where available. RankGo Score v1.0 may not use every field collected.
-
Location-related work information: city, region, trip or job origin/destination, distance or location history, only if the selected source provides it and RankGo has a disclosed need. RankGo does not plan to collect continuous device geolocation at launch unless separately disclosed and authorized.
-
Connection metadata: authentication status, provider connection identifier, source platform, last refresh, error code, reconnection status, consent timestamps and data availability.
RankGo limits the collection and use of Connected Account information to information reasonably necessary to provide and improve active features, maintain security and integrity, provide support, administer RankGo programs and comply with applicable law. If RankGo begins collecting additional categories of sensitive personal information, precise device geolocation, government-issued identification or biometric information for a new purpose, RankGo will provide any additional notice, consent or controls required by applicable law.
2.3 Information collected automatically
-
Device and technical data, such as IP address, browser, operating system, device type, app version, language, time zone, carrier, general region derived from IP, and unique app or device identifiers.
-
Usage data, such as pages and screens viewed, feature interactions, clicks, session duration, navigation paths, connection attempts, report exports, referral activity and diagnostic events.
-
Security and log data, such as sign-in timestamps, authentication events, failed attempts, audit logs, fraud signals, access logs, API requests and crash reports.
-
Cookie and similar technology data, as described below.
2.4 Information from other sources
RankGo may receive information from payment processors, app stores, service providers, referral partners, fraud prevention vendors, publicly available sources, and other users who refer you or interact with you. RankGo may combine information where permitted and compatible with the disclosed purposes.
3. How We Use Personal Information
3.1 Providing and operating the Services
-
create and administer Accounts; authenticate users; connect and refresh Connected Accounts;
-
organize work and earnings data; calculate metrics, RankGo Scores, comparisons and reports;
-
provide dashboards, exports, histories, market comparisons and subscription features;
-
process payments; administer trials, renewals, cancellations, refunds and plan changes;
-
communicate service notices, connection errors, security alerts, billing information and support responses;
-
provide standings or recognition features governed by the applicable rules.
3.2 Accuracy, integrity and fraud prevention
RankGo uses information to validate data quality, reconcile duplicates, identify platform corrections, detect unauthorized connections or multiple accounts, investigate manipulation, audit standings, enforce rules, protect users and preserve system integrity. RankGo may review connection logs, source records, Account history and submitted evidence. Access is limited to personnel who need the information for their authorized responsibilities.
3.3 Improving and developing the Services
RankGo may analyze feature usage, connection success, support themes, aggregate performance patterns and system reliability to improve existing features, design new ones, test data mappings and evaluate markets. RankGo may create de-identified or aggregated information. RankGo will maintain processes reasonably designed to prevent re-identification and will not attempt to re-identify data treated as de-identified, except to test its protections as permitted by law.
3.4 Communications and marketing
RankGo may send administrative communications necessary to operate the Services. With consent where required, RankGo may send product updates, offers, surveys or referral information. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link provided. Unsubscribing does not stop security, billing, legal or service messages. If RankGo offers marketing SMS, the applicable opt-in disclosures and messaging terms will be presented separately before enrollment, including how to stop messages and request help.
3.5 Legal, security and regulatory compliance
RankGo may use information to comply with law and legal process; respond to valid government requests; establish, exercise or defend legal claims; enforce agreements; protect rights, safety, property and security; investigate harmful or unlawful activity; maintain required records; conduct audits; and complete business-related transactions.
4. RankGo Score, Profiling and Automated Processing
RankGo uses mathematical rules to transform verified performance data into analytics, normalized components, a RankGo Score and standings. This processing may be considered profiling or automated processing under some laws. The Score is intended for personal analytics and performance recognition, not for legally significant eligibility decisions relating to credit, housing, employment, insurance, healthcare, educational admissions, criminal justice or similar matters.
RankGo Score v1.0 considers gross earnings, active hours, and gross earnings per active hour. RankGo may use automated checks and manual review to assess data quality, eligibility or fraud. Users may request review of an alleged factual or calculation error under the applicable methodology or rules. If RankGo introduces artificial intelligence or automated decision-making that materially changes this processing, RankGo will provide any additional notice, consent options or rights required by applicable law.
Where applicable law provides rights concerning automated processing, RankGo will provide the required notices and mechanisms for exercising those rights. You may contact info@rankgo.tech with a question or request concerning this processing.
5. How We Disclose Personal Information
RankGo may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described below. Disclosures to service providers are subject to contractual and access restrictions appropriate to the information and the services they provide.
5.1 Data Providers and Gig Platforms
RankGo discloses connection instructions, identifiers, tokens or requests to Argyle and other Data Providers as necessary to retrieve user-authorized data. Data Providers may communicate with Gig Platforms or their systems. The Data Provider’s notice may separately describe its own collection, storage and disclosure.
5.2 Infrastructure and business service providers
Providers may include cloud hosting and database services, authentication providers, error monitoring, customer support, email delivery, analytics configured for service improvement, security and fraud prevention vendors, document storage and professional contractors. Providers are authorized to process information only for the contracted services or as permitted by law.
5.3 Payment processors and app stores
RankGo discloses transaction and subscription information to Stripe or the merchant processing the purchase. Those entities independently process payment details under their own policies. RankGo may receive payment status, transaction identifiers, billing address, card brand and last four digits, and fraud or dispute information.
5.4 Professional advisors
RankGo may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, bankers, consultants and investigators where reasonably necessary and subject to confidentiality obligations or professional duties.
5.5 Authorities and protection
RankGo may disclose information if it reasonably believes disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order, injunction or valid government request, or is necessary to protect rights, investigate fraud, prevent harm, enforce agreements or respond to an emergency. Where lawful and appropriate, RankGo may notify affected users.
5.6 Business transactions
Personal information may be disclosed to prospective or actual investors, lenders, acquirers, sellers or advisors in a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy or asset sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and continued protection under applicable law.
5.7 At your direction
RankGo may disclose information when you direct or consent, such as sharing a report, a public profile, a standings display, a referral or an integration. Before making an identifiable profile or standing public, RankGo will explain what information will be visible and provide the choices required by applicable law.
6. Sale, Sharing, Advertising and Data Monetization
RankGo does not sell personally identifiable gig-worker earnings or performance records to data brokers, advertisers, lenders, insurers or employers.
RankGo may use service analytics and may disclose de-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be linked to you, subject to safeguards and contractual restrictions. Service-provider disclosures described in Section 5 support the operation of the Services.
If RankGo changes its practices in a way that constitutes a sale or sharing of personal information under applicable law, including cross-context behavioral advertising, RankGo will update this Policy and provide the legally required notices and controls before the change takes effect. RankGo will honor legally applicable opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, and obtain consent where required.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
RankGo may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs and similar technologies. Categories may include:
| Category | Purpose | Typical choice |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Sign-in, security, session continuity, payment routing, preferences required for the service | Generally cannot be disabled without affecting the service |
| Functional | Remember optional settings and improve usability | Can be controlled where feasible |
| Analytics | Understand performance, errors and feature usage | Consent or opt-out where required |
| Advertising | Measure campaigns or personalize ads across services | Not part of the stated launch offering; any introduction is subject to applicable notice and choice requirements |
Browser settings can block cookies, but some features may not operate. Where required by applicable law, RankGo will provide a cookie notice and controls for non-essential technologies. RankGo will honor opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where legally applicable to the sale or sharing of personal information.
8. Data Retention
RankGo retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including providing the active Services, maintaining Score and transaction histories, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, meeting tax/accounting/legal obligations, enforcing agreements and maintaining security. Retention depends on category, sensitivity, user expectations, legal requirements, system architecture and deletion feasibility.
Operational framework:
| Data category | Retention approach |
|---|---|
| Active account/profile | While the Account is active, and for 12 months after the last activity (no active Membership and no sign-in). RankGo emails a notice before deleting an inactive Account. |
| Raw Connected Account data | Connections through the Data Provider are removed when the Membership ends. Data RankGo derived for Scores and standings is kept with the Account. |
| Score and standings records | Retain the version, period and input/audit evidence needed to explain results and resolve disputes |
| Payment/tax records | Retain for the legally required accounting, tax, chargeback and audit periods. After Account deletion, retain only the information needed for these purposes, restrict its use and access, and delete or de-identify it when no longer required. |
| Security/fraud records | Retain based on risk, typically longer where needed to prevent repeat abuse |
| Support records | Retain for issue resolution, quality and legal defense; delete or minimize when no longer needed |
| Backups | Expire on a rolling schedule and are not normally restored for individual access, except for disaster recovery |
| De-identified/aggregated data | May be retained without a fixed period if maintained in de-identified form |
When retention ends, RankGo will securely delete, aggregate, de-identify or isolate the information, subject to technical limitations and the law. Closing or deleting an Account does not necessarily require immediate deletion from backups or from records needed for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention or disputes.
9. Security
RankGo uses reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. Measures may include encryption in transit, encryption at rest where supported, access controls, least privilege, authentication controls, secrets management, activity logging, vendor review, secure development, backups, incident response and employee or contractor confidentiality obligations.
No system is completely secure. RankGo cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never defeat its safeguards. You are responsible for keeping credentials secure, protecting your devices and promptly reporting any suspected compromise. RankGo will provide legally required security incident notices.
10. Your Choices and Controls
10.1 Account access and correction
You can view and update certain Account information in settings. You can request correction of inaccurate information that cannot be changed directly. Connected Account data may need to be corrected by the source Gig Platform; RankGo may not be able to alter source records, but can annotate, refresh or correct RankGo’s mapping where appropriate.
10.2 Disconnecting accounts
You can disconnect a Gig Platform connection. This stops future retrieval through that connection but does not automatically delete information already received. Disconnecting may make certain features unavailable or make you ineligible for a current standings season if the required data cannot be verified. Disconnecting does not restore a connection to your plan’s limit.
10.3 Communications
You can unsubscribe from marketing email and adjust available notification settings. RankGo may continue sending essential administrative communications. If RankGo offers SMS communications, follow the opt-out instructions in the applicable messaging terms, including replying STOP where provided.
10.4 Account deletion
You can request Account deletion through settings or at info@rankgo.tech. RankGo will verify the request and explain any data that must be retained. Deleting RankGo does not delete your Gig Platform account or automatically cancel a third-party App Store Subscription. When you request deletion, RankGo removes your connections through the Data Provider promptly, without waiting for the end of your Membership period.
10.5 Device permissions
You can control mobile permissions in your device settings. If RankGo requests location, camera, photo or notification permissions, RankGo will explain the purpose before or at the time of collection. Revoking a permission may limit features.
11. California Privacy Notice
11.1 California rights
If the CCPA applies to RankGo and to your information, a California resident may have the right to: know the categories and specific elements of personal information collected; know the sources, purposes and categories of recipients; delete personal information subject to exceptions; correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of sale or sharing; limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information; receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination; and obtain information in a portable format where required.
Certain rights may not apply to all information. RankGo may deny or limit a request where an exception applies, such as completing a transaction, security and fraud prevention, debugging, exercising legal rights, complying with law, or maintaining permitted internal uses reasonably aligned with expectations.
11.2 Categories collected and disclosed
| CCPA category | RankGo examples | Collected from | Business purpose / recipients |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email, IP address, Account ID, platform ID | You, device, Data Providers | Account, connections, security; service providers |

| Commercial information | Plan, transaction history, purchase status | You, Stripe/app stores | Billing, accounting, support |

| Geolocation | General region; work-related locations if provided | IP, Connected Accounts | Market assignment, analytics; providers |

| Inferences | Performance components, Score, standings, fraud signals | Derived by RankGo | Providing features, integrity, recognition |
| Sensitive personal information | Possible account credentials handled by the provider; precise location or government ID only if necessary | You / Data Provider | Authentication, security, verification; limited recipients |
11.3 Sale and sharing
RankGo does not sell personal information of California consumers for monetary consideration. RankGo does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. Section 6 describes RankGo’s practices and commitments regarding earnings and performance records, service analytics and changes in practices.
Where an activity constitutes a sale or sharing of personal information under the CCPA, RankGo will provide the legally required “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism, honor applicable opt-out preference signals and provide the required notices. You may contact info@rankgo.tech with questions or requests about these practices.
11.4 Sensitive personal information
RankGo intends to use sensitive personal information only for permitted purposes reasonably necessary to provide the requested Services, verify connections, prevent fraud, maintain security, process payments and comply with law. If RankGo uses sensitive information beyond the permitted purposes, it will provide the legally required right to limit its use and disclosure.
11.5 Submitting requests
You may submit requests by email to info@rankgo.tech, or by another method RankGo identifies. RankGo will acknowledge and respond within legally required timeframes. RankGo may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity and match records, such as confirming the Account email, authentication, or details about Connected Accounts. RankGo will not request more information than is reasonably necessary.
11.6 Authorized agents
An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted. RankGo may require proof of authorization and may ask the consumer to verify identity or confirm permission directly, unless the agent holds a valid power of attorney under applicable law.
11.7 Appeals and complaints
If RankGo denies a request, it will explain the basis where required and provide information about available appeal or complaint options. California residents may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or the California Attorney General. RankGo will not discriminate for the exercise of rights, although some features cannot operate without the necessary data.
11.8 Metrics and disclosures
If required, RankGo will compile annual consumer request metrics and update its privacy disclosures at least once a year. Information collected to process privacy requests is used for request verification, response, compliance and related recordkeeping, rather than unrelated purposes.
12. Privacy Rights in Other U.S. States
Residents of other states may have similar rights under applicable comprehensive privacy laws. RankGo will honor verified requests to the extent required. RankGo will update its notices as needed when it expands availability to additional states. State-specific rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, opt out of targeted advertising or sale, profiling rights and an appeal process.
13. Minors
The Services are not intended for anyone under 18, and RankGo does not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If RankGo learns that a person under 18 created an Account, RankGo will take reasonable steps to close it and delete the information, subject to legal retention. Contact info@rankgo.tech with any concerns.
14. International Users and Transfers
RankGo is based in the United States and initially offers the Services for U.S. use. If you access them from another country, information may be processed in the United States or other locations where providers operate. RankGo does not represent that the Services are available or compliant in every jurisdiction. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, RankGo will implement the required safeguards and provide any additional notices or choices.
15. Third-Party Websites, Platforms and Providers
The Services connect or link to third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not by this Policy. Review the privacy notice presented by Argyle or another Data Provider during connection, Stripe’s notice for payments, and each Gig Platform’s policies. RankGo is not responsible for a third party’s independent practices, but will manage vendors within RankGo’s legal obligations.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
RankGo may update this Policy to reflect new features, providers, laws or practices. The “Last Updated” date will change. For material changes, RankGo will provide prominent notice and obtain consent where required. Material changes will not apply retroactively in a manner that unlawfully reduces rights or expands the use of previously collected information without the required notice or consent.
